| This one's inspiration came from the October, 2007 firestorms in Southern California (I'm in San Diego) which were driven by those ill-named (if you're from there!) "Santa Ana" winds. "MaTaa Am" is a Kumeyaayan phrase which best translates to "Wind Coming" The Kumeyaay have lived in the Southern California region and dealt with these winds and fires for over 10,000 years. |
